Walk to Mount Vernon

Just as George may have done we can walk from Alexandria to Mount Vernon. He probably took a horse but then he wasn't training.

Meet at the restrooms (the only building) in Belle Haven Park at 9 am Saturday March 24. The entrance is off the George Washington Parkway between Belle Haven Rd. and Belle View Blvd. Turn left into the parking lots for the Park instead of straight ahead for the Marina.
